We take singing seriously in the South. Yes, after staying here in Cebu for almost four years, I realized just how much they love karaoke like we do in Manila. Hence, there’s no shortage of cool karaoke places in Cebu City.
This holiday season, I figured I’d share with you a few awesome places where you can hang out with your friends, family or co-workers. If your idea of bonding is singing Adele’s ballads, mimicking Bruno Mars or performing all Air Supply hits for hours, Cebu has karaoke bars that can satisfy your wants and whims!
For the planner in the group, I included telephone numbers, rates and other important information you need to live out your fantasies and be a star or singing sensation for a night.
In no particular order, here are the top five KTV spots I’ve tried or about to try and would happily recommend:
1. K1 Family KTV
Address: Crossroads Mall, Gov. M Cuenco Ave, Cebu City

Opening Hours: Sunday to Thursday (5 pm–2 am); Friday and Saturday (5 pm – 3 am)
Reservation: Accepted (same day reservation and they will only hold it until 8 pm)
Rates
Minimum: 1-9 pax (P350 per hour from Sunday to Thursday; P575 per hour on Friday and Saturday)
Maximum: 21-30 pax (P900 per hour from Sunday to Thursday; P1250 per hour on Friday and Saturday)
2. Song Hits! BTC

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday (3PM–3AM) Sunday and Monday (Closed)
Reservation: Accepted but they will not hold it beyond 8pm; walk-in customers are their priority
Rates: P99 hourly rate for 1-6 pax on weekdays (Monday to Thursday); 1-9 pax (P149 an hour) or P2,300 (consumable for 2 hours)
3. Red Box Ayala Malls

For 1-9 pax in an exclusive room (P439 per room per hour)
4. Music One Family KTV And DVD

Hours: Open 24 hours

Reservations: Only accepted for 15-20 people; for smaller groups, just try to get there early to snag a spot
Rates: P 300 an hour; P 1795 (consumable and free for 3 hours)
5. Wat Ever Family KTV

Hours: Monday to Thursday (10AM–2AM); Friday to Sunday (10AM–3AM)
